Swamp Thang

This one is again all about the setting. After my last piece I still had ideas about nasty creatures lurking in swamps. I love crustaceans, spiders, toads, basically anything ugly and crawly. I love creature design, sculpting is fun, drawing is too, but bringing something out of your subconscious is the best bit. When I was a kid I was drawn to Bosch and Grunewald, the things that hide in the deepest recesses. All ZBrush and polypaint again. Probably is time to knock out a few cuter things now.
